LUCA MR is a young, gentle rebel — quiet and outgoing at the same time, always ready to go wild with his small circle of real friends.

Full of contradictions… just like every other boy his age.

LUCA MR is a painter, actor, and rock singer-songwriter, which makes everything more intense, restless, and beautifully complicated.

When art critic Martina Corgnati once asked him to describe his work, he replied with a shy smile: “A white flower stained with blood… my blood.” That pretty much says everything about him.

Born on March 29th in Milan, Luca has been playing with colour since he can remember.

He studied acting, moved to London where he formed his first rock band.

Then headed to the US, living between Los Angeles and New York.

There he fell in love with street art and started leaving his poetic writing across the city walls.

Back in Italy, he enrolled at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan.

Soon after, he began exhibiting internationally — at the Grand Palais in Paris, Fondazione Stelline in Milan, and the University Museum of Hong Kong — quickly developing his own recognisable style.

His art dives deep into adolescence: its lights and shadows, first sexual awakenings, overwhelming emotions, love, body discovery, and the fluid line between masculine and feminine.

Sensual yet naive, quietly unsettling — an unaware kind of seduction.

Art critic Luca Beatrice once wrote about him: “Luca chooses figuration and makes it his own, blending the freshness of illustration with cultured painting.

Delicate but strong lines float over natural backgrounds where sensual young men and women drift.

Radiographs of rice-paper petals form romantic, almost gothic roses.

In 2021, ICON magazine published his graphic novel “Maleducazione Sentimentale” (Poetical Miseducation), the first comic where characters wear straight-off-the-runway clothes.

Chosen by Cartier in 2022 to present his works in Milan.

In 2024 he created “THE RENAISSANCE BOYS” with movie starbMassimiliano Caiazzo, a multidisciplinary project about modern young masculinity, shown in Milan, Rome and Naples.

In 2025 the artist His latest solo show “Tra boschi, Lolite e cowboys”(“Among woods, Lolitas and cowboys”) opened at Tobian Gallery in Florence.

In early 2026, during Milan Fashion Week, he joined “HYDRA – An Illusion of Abundance” with Mira Wanderlust, Simon Cracker and Humana People to People, a strong project on fast fashion where one of his sculptures was exhibited.

Right now Luca is working on the immersive installation “The Boy’s Room”.
He is writing his first rock EP.
At the same time, he’s writing his first novel, “the boy’s diary” which will be published soon.
