LUCA MR è un giovane uomo, misterioso, ribelle, gentile e solitario, un’anima dark, riservato ed estroverso allo stesso tempo.
Pieno di contraddizioni… come tutti i ragazzi.
Ma LUCA MR è anche un giovane artista… pittore, attore, cantautore.
E quindi tutto diventa più accentuato, irrequieto…da interpretare.
Quando Martina Corgnati, critico e storico dell’arte gli chiese in una intervista come avrebbe descritto il suo lavoro artistico, lui rispose candido “un fiore bianco sporco di sangue…il mio sangue”, già questo dovrebbe farvi capire il personaggio.
Nato il 29 marzo a Milano, da che si ricordi ha sempre giocato col colore.
Studia recitazione e a Londra fonda la sua prima rock band dove si esibisce come cantautore.
Si trasferisce negli Stati Uniti vivendo tra Los Angeles e New York dove scopre la street art.
Lascia così il suo segno attraverso writing raccontando le sue poesie, per le strade delle metropoli che attraversa
Tornato in Italia si iscrive all’Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera a Milano studiando pittura.
Inizia subito a lavorare con gallerie e musei in una serie di eventi internazionali, come quelli al Grand Palais di Parigi, alla Fondazione Stelline di Milano o al Museum and University of Hong Kong, che lo porteranno ad affermare il suo stile personale e riconoscibile.
L’artista rappresenta l’adolescenza, quell’arco di tempo pieno di luci e ombre, dei primi turbamenti sessuali, delle grandi emozioni, dell’amore, della scoperta del proprio corpo e della percezione del maschile e del femminile .
Il suo linguaggio ha quel afflato sensuale, ingenuo e conturbante nello stesso tempo, sia quando tratta di giovani imberbi e lolite della porta accanto, sia quando si perde nei suoi giardini, nei suoi boschi incantanti, carichi di nostalgia.
Un’inconsapevole seduzione…
Dice di lui il critico d’arte Luca Beatrice : “LUCA sceglie la strada della figurazione che interpreta in maniera unica mischiando la freschezza dell’illustrazione con la pittura più colta. Al segno deciso eppure delicato impasta sfondi naturali sui quali galleggiano giovani uomini e donne, sensuali più che erotici. Radiografie di petali di carta di riso assemblati in un collage si arrampicano a formare una romantica e gotica rosa”.
Nel 2021 la rivista ICON pubblica per tre numeri la sua prima graphic novel “Maleducazione Sentimentale” il primo fumetto in cui i personaggi principali sono vestiti con abiti visti sulle passerelle, della collezione in corso.
Voluta da F.Y. Fucking Young magazine viene tradotta in inglese con il titolo “Poetic Miseducation”
Nel novembre 2022 è stato scelto dalla Maison Cartier a Milano, per presentare i suoi ultimi lavori
Tra il 2023 e l’inizio del 2024 vive e lavora tra Parigi e Venezia
Tra novembre e dicembre 2024 insieme all’attore di cinema TV e teatro Massimiliano Caiazzo, nasce il progetto “THE RENAISSANCE BOYS” su cosa vuol dire essere giovani uomini oggi, attraverso opere pittoriche, scultoree, scritti teatrali ed una performance live presentato a Milano a Roma ed a Napoli.
Come cantautore punk sta lavorando al suo primo ep.

É autore in divenire di una piece teatrale multimediale che racconta l’amore tra i due grandi poeti Arthur Rimbaud e Paul Verlaine ed il punto di vista della moglie di quest’ultimo, Mathilde Mauté.
LUCA MR is a young man, gentle, rebel, reserved and outgoing at the same time.
Full of contradictions … like all guys.
But LUCA is also a young artist… painter, actor, songwriter.
So, everything becomes more accentuated, restless… to be interpreted.
When Martina Corgnati, art critic, asked him in an interview how he would describe his artistic work, he candidly replied:
«a white flower stained by blood … my blood», this should already make you understand the character.
Born on March 29 in Milan, LUCA remember he has always played with color.
He studies acting and takes part in various theatrical pieces in Italy and abroad.
In London he founded his first rock band where he performed as a lead singer.
He moves to the United States living between Los Angeles and New York where he discovers street art.
leaves his mark through writing, telling his “poems” on the walls of the metropolises he crosses.
Back in Italy he enrolled at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan, and there starting to paint.
He start to works with galleries and museums in a series of international events, such as those at the Grand Palais in Paris, the Stelline Foundation in Milan or the Museum and University of Hong Kong, which will lead him to affirm his personal and recognizable style.
The artist represents adolescence, that period of time full of lights and shadows, first sexual turmoil, great emotions, love and the discovery of one’s own body and the perception of masculine and feminine.
His language has that sensual and naive seductive allure inspiration, when he dealing about boys and lolitas next door, or when it gets lost in its gardens, enchanting woods, full of nostalgia.
An unknowing seduction…
The art critic Luca Beatrice says about him: «LUCA chooses the path of figuration which he interprets in a unique way, mixing the freshness of illustration with the most cultured painting. At the decisive yet delicate sign he mixes natural backgrounds on which young men and women float, sensual rather than erotic. From March 2021 he is present monthly on ICON magazine with his first graphic novel “Maleducazione Sentimentale” This is then translated in english for F.Y. Fucking Young magazine, titled “Poetic Miseducation”
In November 2022 he has been chosen by the Maison Cartier to present his latest art works
Between 2023 and early of 2024 he lives and works between Paris and Venice
In November and December 2024, together with the theater, TV and movie star actor Massimiliano Caiazzo, they create the project “THE RENAISSANCE BOYS” about on what it means to be young men today, through paintings, sculptures, theatrical writings and a live acting performance presented in Milan, Rome and Naples.
As a singer-songwriter he is working on his first EP.
He continues drafting for the publication of a collection of thoughts and poems.
He is the author-in-progress of a multimedia theatrical piece about the love story between two great poets, Arthur Rimbaud and Paul Verlaine and the point of view of the latter’s wife, Mathilde Mauté.
